Swimming in January!!

This weekend we were supposed to go the Hardware Ranch up by Logan to go on the sleigh ride and see the elk with some friends. But, my uncle (who manages it) called me on Friday and said they had to close the ranch due to ice. So, instead we went to the Lehi Legacy Center. It was so fun! McClain was born to swim. She loved the water and she had no fear of it. She got so mad if we took her out. She played until she dropped. Her friend Taylee took a minute to warm up to the water, but she eventually started to have fun. We will be doing that again soon! If you've never been, I highly recommend it. Hopefully, in the next couple weekends we'll be able to make our trip to Logan. She loved the life jacket, so she could do it by "herself."

Born to be wild!

I'm not quite sure what to do with this girl. She's absolutely fearless. She got a new 4-wheeler for Christmas and instead of riding it, she thinks it's a jungle gym. She started out sitting on it, then standing up and slowly letting go of the handle bars until she was standing on the seat with no hands, and then she rocks it back and forth. She conquered that pretty quick and that wasn't enough. Now, she stands on the front fenders and climbs over the handle bars, until she is standing up. All this and she hasn't even started riding the thing. I can only imagine what she'll be doing when she gets going on it. She'll probably master standing on the seat and steering. This kid needs a healthy dose of fear!!Standing on her seat. Climbing over the handle bars.
